Artist Residency - Luke Hannam
19th - 22nd October
This autumn, we are delighted to welcome the artist Luke Hannam of Practise Room to lead a three-day drawing retreat here at Glebe House. The drawing will take place in and around the home, making the most of the stunning landscape. Whilst drawing you will be encouraged to connect to the familiar, to the objects that hold the home's histories, stories and creating elaborate still lives. We will be inviting a model to draw to add to the dynamics. The three days will be an opportunity to delve deeply and explore what it is to really draw. Luke will explore with equal emphasis the relationship between the technical and the emotional aspects of drawing, the aim will be to create a powerful synthesis between the internal and external observed world. Expect delicious, thoughtfully prepared meals from the Glebe House kitchen and a unique and inspiring setting for this very special retreat.
